Any split system may eventually require repairs — not just cleaning or refueling. We are carrying out a full range of works to restore air conditioners in Tbilisi: from eliminating freon leaks and rerolling connections to repairing electronic components and reinstalling units.

Repair always begins with a diagnosis. At this stage, the overall condition of the system is checked — the appearance of the route, insulation and drainage, the presence of oil traces, as well as the quality of the connections. The technician assesses the tightness visually and using a detector, paying attention to the rolling areas and the torque of the nuts. Then the air conditioner starts in test mode to ensure that the compressor, fans and valves are operating correctly.
At the same time, the electrical system is tested: currents and voltages are measured, the resistance of the windings and sensors is evaluated, the starting currents and the power supply to the control board are analyzed. The diagnosis ends with a report that accurately indicates the causes of the malfunction and the necessary work. At this stage, the system is not opened or rolled over — only inspection and measurement.

After the diagnosis, you will know the cost of repairs and whether it is worth starting them at all. In most cases, leaks do not occur due to damage to the track — copper is durable — but due to installation errors: poor rolling, skewed flares, excessive or, conversely, poor nut tightening. In such cases, we carefully disassemble the joint, cut off the edge of the pipe, form a new fleur with the right angle and a mirrored surface, then reassemble the unit in accordance with the required tightening torque. After that, a tightness test is carried out under operating pressure, and, if necessary, the route is pressurized.

If the inspection reveals pinched areas, signs of leakage and cracks, the route is partially replaced. The new section is being laid with the correct slope, bending radii and insulation. It is important that the line does not transmit vibrations and does not come into contact with sharp edges, so all fasteners are made with damping elements. After assembly, vacuuming and checking the tightness are carried out.

When the refrigeration circuit is restored, the electrical part is checked. Special attention is paid to the starting capacitor — its capacity must exactly match the compressor parameters. If necessary, we install a new capacitor and repair the control board: we restore the soldering, replace damaged relays, temperature sensors and batteries. Everything is tested under load to make sure that the system starts up stably and doesn't go into defense.
If the air conditioner has become worse at cooling, there are extraneous sounds, odors, smells or errors on the display, this is a reason to call a technician. Even a minor leak of freon can eventually lead to compressor overheating and expensive repairs.
